Creek Fire Relief (Tahoe Love)
Donation protected
Please help families affected with the current Creek Fire. This money goes towards the storage and transportation process of miscellaneous items from Tahoe to the displaced residents affected by the Creek Fire. These items include furniture, clothing, home items, toys, linens, etc.
The Creek Fire started on Friday night, August 4th between Camp Sierra and Big Creek. Creek fire is only at 18% contained as of 9.17.2020 and has burned over 240,000 acres.
My name is Amy Preheim. I am an Interior Designer in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region. This is so important because Big Creek is my hometown and in the center of this whole thing. So many families have lost their homes, including my parents and other family members.
There has been many local Truckee-ians that have generously donated larger items that need to find their way down South. We need money to pay for labor and storage for these items to be transported to the families in need. Any small or large donation is greatly appreciated to get us to our goal of helping my community back home.
