Sierra Foundation Creek Fire Relief Funds

The Creek Fire, which started in Big Creek, CA, on September 4th has continued to devastate and endanger our Sierra mountain families and community. As of today, it has burned approximately 196,667+ acres with 6% containment.
In the face of this extremely challenging and heartbreaking situation, we must encourage each other to come to together to help the community and families we love so they can continue to survive and eventually rebuild.
We encourage everyone to take action in whatever way you are able - through monetary donations, supplies, volunteering or just sharing this relief fund with others.
If you are able and choose to donate money to this relief fund, please specify where you would like your funds to go: "Big Creek School", "Pine Ridge Elementary", "Sierra Unified School District", or to "Families that have lost their homes". You can do this by selecting "Add a comment" on your confirmation receipt. Those comments are saved and listed under your donation.
Donations will be accepted by Sierra Foundation, and will then be dispersed to Big Creek School, Pine Ridge Elementary School, Sierra Unified School District, or families that have lost their homes based on specifications noted. If no specification is noted, funds will go where they are most needed.
There will be community-based teams handling the distribution process to ensure the funds are dispersed appropriately.
