Hi! My name is Ellis Deakin and I am currently in my third year at the University of Salford, studying on the TV & Radio Production course. I am currently in the pre-production phase of making my final project, the largest and most important short film I have made yet. I will be filming over three days with a crew of seven people, and a cast of four. We will be filming in Frodsham, so travel from Manchester will be necessary for all cast and crew which has taken up most of the estimated budget

I am asking for £700 after making budget calculations which will include, travel fares, food, drinks, and props - As it is a student film, no one is getting paid. Any leftover money after production has finished will be donated to the Oliver King Foundation, a charity that I recently discovered, which aims to make defibrillators available for everyone across the UK

Premise of the film - When Dan returns home to his village after graduating from university, he has to face his new responsibilities of being an adult and the pressure to make something of his life. Trying to avoid this, he goes out into the place he once called home in search of a life purpose
