On June 27th 2017, so much happened and changed our life. Treasure was in a terrible accident and had several surgeries she suffered many injuries. However, she survived and has been  making strides on recovery everyday. She asked me to assist her with creating this source of help through go fund me. We have been best friends for more than a decade, so there was no hestitation to help her with this. Treasure is able to communicate through writing and as of yesterday 7/14/17 was able to begin speaking. She's use to being independent raising her kids and being a sole provider, but is now finding herself to be in a dependent situation. She has a break in the top of her spinal cord that will heal in time and several breaks to her pelvis. She also suffered several injuries to her face. Shes had 2 surgeries with 3 different procedures done. She has several surgeries to go through. One of the most signifcant life changes is due to the breaks in her pelvis, she has an external fixater (metal plates and bars that are holding her pelvis still so the pelvis can heal) she is required to go to a physical therapy rehailitaion center which is still weeks out. She will have to re-learn to walk and right now she cant put any weight on her pelvis, so she is still bed ridden for a while. She also had extreme trauma to her face and her vision has been affected, we still dont fully know what to expect with her vision, but God has answered our prayers and thus far has saved her eye. These injuries will affect her forever. She has been concered about her financial situation and most importantly her children. She is asking for the following help:
Everyday essentials for her and her children now and over the time of her recovery... this isn't a sprint it's a marathon with hurdles and wins along the way. The money will be in an account I set up for Treasure, the money will be only utilized for and by her ( as that is what she wanted). Food expenses, Health and beauty products, medical products, her childrens needs #1 priority is their essential needs and back to school supplies and back to school clothing and shoes etc . Long term goals: she wants her own place for her, her boyfriend Michael, and her kids. Her vehicle was a total loss, but eventually they would need to get a family vehicle to replace the lost vehicle. Items that were lost during or due to the accident her drivers license, clothing, etc. She wants to relieve the stress of her family, Micheal and her children. Also she has asked for more visitors. She's at Holmes Regional in Melbourne RM# A418. She has a hard time speaking so bear that in mind she mostly writes to communicate. We also ask for prayers for the recovery process. We are looking at 3-9 more weeks before she will be discharged.

Also, the photo was taken of Treasure today 7/15/17. She wants me to add photos as she progresses and updates.  She is the captain of this ship and I am her firstmate.
