CRASH CAUSED BY HURRICANE FLORENCE

The last of the rain from Hurricane Florence on Sunday closed dozens of roads, there were no barriers or warning cones set up yet when Neela Dave headed to her job on Monday morning. While driving to work the road underneath her gave way and she crashed head first into the other side of the washed away road. With no curfew or indication that she could not travel on the road, Neela left for work at 5:30 AM, not knowing that her life was going to be changed forever. If you ever have met or do meet Neela, right away you notice she is one of the most giving, caring and loving women in the world. In a world where people only care for themselves, Neela cares for everyone. She has sacrificed her entire life to give and help others. Now this time, she is the one in need. In the accident she suffered a sternum fracture, compression fracture (back), fractured wrist and fractured knee cap. She will need surgery and several months of recovery. She did not have health insurance. Medical bills are piling up one after another. We did not place a drastic amount of money as a goal, because I know Neela would not ask any of you for help. So we are reaching out, hoping we can all come together to relieve the financial burden while she fights to overcome the life changing injuries. Anything donated is appreciated more than you know by all family and especially Neela herself.
