2nd Annual Craig's GladiATOrs 2014

On March 20, 2010, Craig and three other brothers were in a terrible car accident. The other three walked away unscathed. However, Craig sustained catastrophic damage to both his body and head leading to multiple surgeries. In the four years since the accident, Craig has spent time in hosptials and rehabilitation centers across Pennsylvania. Suffering from severe brain injuries and in a comatose state, Craig now lives at home with his parents in Radnor, Pennsylvania.
On April 13, 2014, ATΩ will be hosting the second annual "Craig's GladiATΩrs". "Craig's GladiATΩrs" will be a team competition involving events such as obstacle courses, jousting, and other team challenges followed by a dinner and silent auction. We are asking for your support through a monetary donation. The proceeds from the team competition, silent auction and monetary dontations will go directly to the Weingarten family to help with Craig's daily care and provide him with a higher quality of life.
Every day is trying for the Weingarten family, as they watch their athletic, smart, and humorous son fight his way through a grueling and long-term rehabilitation process. His progress has been small, but noticeable, as Craig's bodily functions and motor skills have continued to slowly improve over the past four years. However, these improvements come at a very steep price. To list a few of the many expenses the Weingarten family has endured over this time: Craig's hospital visits, surgeries, physical and speech therapy sessions, in-home nursing care, his medicine, his wheelchair, a customized van for him to travel in, his rehab equipment, and an in-home elevator for him to get to his room.
