The purpose of this campaign is to raise money for our good friend Craig.
He is someone who has touched many of our lives with his happy go lucky and positive attitude. Always a pleasure to be around.
Craig has recently been diagnosed with cancerous tumours in his lungs and brain and unfortunately this is not the first time he has been dealt this card.
Craig's inital diagnosis in 2005 was Breast Cancer. This latest diagnosis is know as metastatic breast cancer which is when the cancer spreads from the breast tissue to another part of the body or has come back in another distant location.
This area of spread is called a metastases when multiple areas are involved. Breast cancer most commonly spreads to the bone, lungs, liver, and brain.
When we think of breast cancer we automatically think it is a women's disease and many of us don't actually realise that men are also affected and need just as much support.
With mounting medicals bills, a long road of evasive treatment ahead and two teenage daughters to care for, it would be great if we can at least take some financial pressure off.
In the words of 'Saint Teresa of Calcutta' we don't need to perform huge gestures to make a difference.......
We simply need to "do small things with great love".
No matter how big or small a donation you can make, it will be going to a worthy cause and will hopefully ease some aspects of this difficult time for Craig and his family. Thank you x
