Craig & Kallum

It is with my heartfelt sadness that I am creating this page. Kallum is the son of my great friend Craig Milne. Until recently, Kallum was an 11-year-old happy, healthy, courageous lad with everything going his way. Only a week ago, Kallum was rushed into hospital after a period of feeling very tired with a loss of appetite. After a walk-in visit and a short trip to A&E, Kallum was rushed to Leeds Royal Infirmary where Craig and his family were given the most devastating news a parent could ever have to face. Kallum was diagnosed with a weak heart due to seriously damaged arterial tubes and was immediately put into an induced coma to rest his heart while tests were completed. Kallum was placed at the top of the heart transplant list and was rushed to Great Ormond Street hospital, where he remains today. Craig is self-employed so will not receive any wages as he continues to be by the side of his son. Craig is a very proud person but needs this support so that financial worries can be put to one side whilst he supports his son. All funds raised will go directly to Craig so he can remain by Kallum's side through the long journey ahead, which could be months; this is not going to be a short process.
