Hi friends, I am raising this money so we can produce my pilot script and hire a lot of the talented people that I know. Including my friend, actor and director Jim Hanks , my friend, producer and director Vern Davidson , friend, artist and Emmy winning special effects artist, Jeff Farley and many others! Yes, they all have to be HIRED! I have to hire them! A network show hires between 60 and 80 people per episode, per week. We will be hiring 31 people over the total of 10 days for 1 episode! And 60 or more people for several years, when it gets picked up!
As you may or may not know, I have been working with my XTRACTED feature screenplay for many years and it has won seven awards , including best comedy screenplay and best original concept, among others. I personally have over 10,000 dollars invested and too many hours to count. This will get us to the next and final level.
Recently, as more and more streaming services pop up, I realized that this is the way to go and for us to have the upper hand we have to shoot a pilot script. I have reworked the screenplay into 6 episodes. I have budgeted the pilot script with the total we need to raise listed above. This is a very conservative number! If we could raise more than 73,650 that would make shooting all of the episodes, a lot easier. Once we raise the money, we can hire whom ever we wish! We won't have to look for help from an A-list celebrity. Hollywood FREEDOM!
My end GOAL is to shoot this ASAP, have the series picked up by one of the streaming services and employ ALL of the talented actors that I have met in my twenty plus years in this business. We will need a bunch of extras everyday and everyone will be welcomed to participate!
