Waco Craft Bar & Brewery Rescue is a joint initiative to allow the craft beverage community in Waco to continue to exist while battling the Covid-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has hit the craft beverage industry in a major way. With our establishments shut down (and no end in sight), many businesses are facing challenges that we had never foreseen. Waco Craft Bar & Brewery Rescue aims to be a relief fund for the businesses that have provided craft beverages for all of us to enjoy. The goal of this fundraiser is to ensure that we all have the opportunity to enjoy craft beverages as soon as things get back to normal.
The Bars and Breweries involved are as follows:
Bare Arms Brewing
Barnett's Public House
Brotherwell Brewing
Dancing Bear Pub
Truelove Bar
Southern Roots Brewing
Waco Ale Company
This Initiative has three parts:
1) Donations! All donations that are given go to a pool to be split between participating establishments. Funds are split evenly across all seven parties.
2) Sponsors donate to a pool that is split between all of the seven businesses involved. In return, they will receive marketing in the way of custom branded merchandise to be sold at each of the participating establishments.
3)) Merchandise is sold by each of the participating establishments to go towards that business's needs. Merchandise will include shirts, masks, hats, and koozies. The bar or brewery that sells the merchandise keeps the proceeds from the sale.
