CRAFT & VINYL Trying To Survive

Donation protected
We're a craft beer pub, vinyl record shop and music recording suite all under one roof!

>>> We desperately need your help through donations in any amount <<<

Our mandated closure began mid March and we're on the verge of losing our business. Like so many other hard working small business owners, we continue to wait for funds from the now depleted Payroll Protection Program and CARES Act which was to provide SBA national disaster recovery loans. Meanwhile mega brands get multi million dollar bail outs.

And on top of the mandated closure, our insurer, Cincinnati Insurance Companies abandoned us by denying our legitimate claim. It hurts in a time of national disaster caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have active insurance in good standing that includes Loss of Income and Civil Authority coverage and there is no existing language in our policy that excludes coverage based on damages from a virus. Cincinnati Insurance Companies has kicked us when we're down. What they did to us was crushing and wrong.   Story on CBS News They keep billing us for premiums, which we always pay and have betrayed their promise to protect CRAFT & VINYL. Meanwhile their CEO/ President, Steven J. Johnston made $3.4 Million in 2019. Hey, Cincinnati Insurance, it sure hurts to get "grabbed" by YOUR Johnston!

You can have a big impact by sharing this GoFund Me campaign with your community on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat and inviting your friends to get involved in saving small business too.

We are living in a time that our federal government is comparing to being at war and this gesture is something you can do to help keep CRAFT & VINYL afloat and in the fight. It's critical as small business accounts for nearly 50% of the economy and jobs in the United States.

Please help by supporting small business in the community!

We humbly thank you.

More than doing business, CRAFT & VINYL does and will continue to do good in our community:

~ Hosted the Columbus College of Art & Design student film fest
~ Hosted Capital University Conservatory of Music
~ Hosted Groove U students to present their capstone project to our neighborhood
~ Provide support and stage for School of Rock youth recitals
~ Formed an alliance with Mid Ohio Filmmakers Association to connect musicians and film makers
~ Support Music Columbus/ Columbus Music Commission and their membership value proposition
~ Encourage and support local comedians and improv groups
~ Host the Columbus Songwriter's Association membership monthly for acoustic singer songwriter recitals
~ Gifted music recording sessions to underserved and impoverished members of the community
~ Local evangelical support to put food on the shelves of food pantries
~ Gathered hundreds of coats as part of a winter coat drive to keep the homeless warm
~ Support and provide a home for the Enkindled Columbus podcast to give artists a voice
~ Developed partnerships with PromoWest and PickTown Palooza to help developing artists that play our small stage to have the opportunity to share a big stage with national artists to crowds of thousands

This is what we started with!
We turned that into this, with no partner, no bankers, bootstrapped on our own from hard work and years of saving to make this dream bloom to life.
And our cherished community of customers and musicians turned it into this!
And this too!
