Cord Blood Banking

To give Baby Carolina an extra safety precaution after going through chemotherapy treatments with me, we are choosing to bank her cord blood as we did for Cole. Because cord blood stem cells are used in the treatment of nearly 80 diseases, including various types of cancer and blood diseases, and because of the genes that exist in our families, we feel this is one of the most important things we can do. And 60% of cord blood is used for siblings so this is really for both of our children.
