Matt's Road to Recovery

On Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 Matt was involved in a motorcycle accident after leaving church service for the night. He was rushed to Henry Ford Macomb hospital where he spent several hours in the Emergency Room. Doctor's soon reported that Matt's major injuries consisted of several broken ribs, a skull fracture, and a lacerated spleen that was causing internal bleeding. He is now going on his fourth day in ICU where they are continuing to monitor his progress. We still do not know when Matt will be able to come home or how many follow up visits will be needed. After speaking with the hospital and insurance company, it seems as though a large majority of Matt's medical expenses will not be covered.
