Mold go fund me
Hey folks,
Doubtfully here i am again hoping to find support from my community. Y’all have helped me so much to bring my beautiful babies into the world the way i dreamed of and all my thanks is given for your graciousness. This last year of 2022 was a major year of suffering for my family and i on multiple accords. Most people had no idea all that we were going through, seeing as though my tendency is to suffer in silence. The year started with a really bad car accident i had with 2 other vehicles in a chick fila parking lot that not only eventually costed me my vehicle but it had also caused some major injuries with my spine. I had sprain my back in 3 places , 1 being my pelvis the other my neck and upper scapula. I went through a pretty traumatic experience dealing with this entire situation for the driver at fault did not have insurance and i unfortunately did not have health insurance because the state of Georgia makes it complicated for our “poor but not poor enough folk”. I do have a lawyer working to get back all of the money i had lost during that time and the suffering i had experienced. While i was battling with my own health and mental health struggles my daughter Echo had also been suffering pretty severely. We learned the hard way that she is allergic to mold and our house has a huge problem with mold. My poor baby was either super sick or just less sick for almost a year. Vomiting tons of mucus constantly and always with really bad ear infections and fevers. After fighting and advocating for her against my landlords and her doctors, my baby had to go through a surgical procedure to remove her adenoids and get tubes put into her ears. My landlord also did a few renovations on our home to help mediate the mold problem but unfortunately the mold still exist. My partner and I had finally come to the conclusion with the help of my therapist and wellness coach to move as soon as we are able. I am blessed to say that new beginning is shortly around the corner, we move into our #1 home the beginning of February. In order to not bring any of the mold into our new home we have to rid ourselves of all furniture and personal items like linens, towels, pillows, mattresses etc. Basically anything made from porous materials. The cost of replacing all of these things estimates to be around $5000 for essentials like beds for my children, a bed for us, dressers, a couch, towels and linens. I do obviously have a job that i love but truly my monthly expenses as a mom may not leave much room for a recovery in such a major way. I am asking for you all to help us make this transition smoothly any amount you have to offer is a huge help. Sharing to your friends and family is also a huge help!
With love,
