!!UPDATE ON FOUND FEMALE PITBULL!! It is a very sad day for Princess (her given name) and animal lovers today. Three weeks ago as many of you can recall, a distressed, chained, wounded, filthy dirty, sweet white Pitbull stumbled on a strangers yard (guardian angels that took her in). I offered to take her to Boulder, a No Kill Shelter to be seen and receive care for her wounds. But the following Wednesday they informed me that she was chipped and her owner had been contacted, but did not show up to get her though. I begged, cried, offered money for her care for them to keep her and find her a new home, there was no way she could go back to her abuser for the obvious reasons, I even offered to take her in to give her love and protection if needed. The shelter asked me to call Animal Control, but all they did was shame me for not taking her to a Denver County Shelter, I tried (but no one promised to keep her alive), so they decided not to get involved. Today I called to check on her and they gave me the terrible news that her owner has picked her up, just like that...no investigation, no questions asked. I am so sad that we let her down, nobody listened to me and now she is back to her horrific life being chained, abused and left in a backyard to learn how to hate humans! Please help me to rescue Princess, I will go to the media, animal rights groups, anyone willing to speak on her behalf. To make matters worse, she is either pregnant or just had a litter, (it has been confirmed that she is a breeder). Shame on all of you that witness the ROUGH TREATMENT TO MAKE HER TOUGH and did not do anything about it. Animals are not ours, they are our friends, companions, gifts from God to love, protect and let live free happy lives. I have offered the owner money to buy her, but he refused, I truly believe she has a price and I am doing my best to come up with the funds to save her. My wish is to be transparent and open to suggestions on how to rescue this beautiful dog from her current condition.

-All money left from the purchase and care of Princess, will be donated to a local shelter, I will be looking at the ones that gave us a hand on our quest.
