The Prescott K9 Project needs your help protecting our community! We are asking for donations of any size to continue the fundraising efforts to purchase and train a new K9 as well as an SUV equipped for a K9 Team.
K-9 BENEFITS TO THE COMMUNITY
¤ Combat the increased presence of illegal drugs
¤ Crime deterrent
¤ Locate missing children or vulnerable adults
¤ Faster response to calls for service when a K-9 is necessary
¤ Improved safety for police officers
¤ Greater efficiency in searches (buildings, vehicles, people)
¤ Public relations opportunities with the community, especially our local schools
A K9 Team will benefit the community in many ways. From search and rescue; locating lost people, including children and vulnerable adults, searching for drugs and explosives, to assisting officers by apprehending criminals and protecting law enforcement in dangerous situations along with being a great asset to keeping the schools safe. We are on the outskirts of many main highways and need additional resources to help keep drugs out of the area.
Funds are needed immediately, we are half way to our goal and narcotic arrest counts continue to increase. ***The gofundme goal will change as donations are received from sources outside of gofundme - watch for updates below!***
