This beautiful lady is my daughter, my heart, Misty Medders Morris. Those who know her, know she is a wonderful person who gives selflessly above and beyond herself to help others. It is one of the joys of her life.
Misty’s life took a drastic turn several months back, when she became seriously ill. For months, the doctors could not determine what was wrong. She experienced a myriad of serious symptoms, including seizures and short-term memory loss. Misty was tested for everything under the sun. Her health declined rapidly. Grasping at straws, we took her to a doctor in Charleston, SC who specializes in mold toxicity. The doctor determined by Misty’s symptoms and her experience in the field, that most likely she was, in fact, exposed to mold. Various mold tests, including a mold blood test (IgG) was ordered, revealing that Misty has very high levels of the top 5 dangerous mold toxins in her system. The toxins have created serious neurological and physical problems for her. The healing process is very slow and treatment is very expensive. Because of the severity of the toxicity, she now has to undergo a 6 week detoxification program for mold at the cost of $12,000 that insurance will not cover and has to be paid up front. Additionally, her and her family will have to remain in Charleston for the entire 6-week treatment adding additional costs for hotel, food, and gas.
