Cpt. John Snyder's Memorial Fund

Captain John Snyder died Saturday, Oct 14th in Santa Fe from complications of cancer treatment. He leaves behind his family Manya, and 2 amazing daughters, Mali and Hana, his parents, Sam and Letty Snyder, his sisters Leslie, Sue, and Kim, along with many, many friends and co-workers that were like his family. John was in the USMC for 4 years. He worked in Alaska in construction for a few years before moving to New Mexico with his family and serving local communities in Northern New Mexico fire departments. He worked for LAFD for 13 years before he left to continue his education at SFCC. He also worked as a Paramedic with Espanola Ambulance while he was in school. This fund will cover expenses that may have occured during the hospital stay, funeral expenses, and money that will help the girls in their education at UNM. John was a large help with the expenses the girls had at school, and we hope this money will continue to help Mali and Hana, not only during the short time, but for the remainder of their college education.
