Help a friend feel secure in her new home

Hello! We are looking to get some money together for our dear friend.
She has been in temporary council housing for 2 years after gaining asylum in the UK from Mexico for political persecution. The council has recently given her the opportunity to move into a permanent housing. However, the home is unfurnished, the floors need carpeting, and several key appliances (e.g. stove) are missing. On top of this, she recently received a late accumulated bill for rent at her current flat. In paying for this, she has been left in a very vulnerable financial situation which will take a long time to recover from. All this unexpected costs have come at once and are especially burdensome since she has been sending any extra income to her family.
We don't think this burden should be hers alone. If we could all contribute what we can it would make a huge difference. This was done entirely on our initiative. In wanting to remove any unnecessary pressure from her we decided to raise this independently and present this as a collective gift once some money has been raised.
Please help us make her experience of moving into a safe home after so many years one of Love and Joy, as it should be, rather than stress.
Needless to say, she is a very close and special friend to us, and we would really appreciate it if you could help us help her in this way.

Hola! Estamos intentando recaudar fondos para nuestra querida amiga.
Ha estado viviendo en una acomodación municipal temporal durante 2 años después de buscar asilo en el Reino Unido desde México por persecución política. El municipio recientemente le ha dado la oportunidad de mudarse a una vivienda permanente. Sin embargo, el piso está sin amueblar, los pisos necesitan moqueta, y faltan varios electrodomésticos importantes (ej. cocinera). Recientemente recibió una factura acumulada tardía por el alquiler de su piso actual. Al hacer este pago se ha quedado en una situación financiera muy vulnerable de la que tomará mucho tiempo en recuperarse. Todos estos costes inesperados han llegado a la vez y son especialmente pesados, ya que ella ha estado mandando sus ingresos adicionales a su familia.
No creemos que esta carga deba ser solo suya. Si todxs pudiéramos contribuir con lo que podamos, haríamos una gran diferencia. Este crowdfunding es iniciativa nuestra. Hemos querido eliminar cualquier tipo de presión innecesaria sobre ella, así que hemos decidido plantear esto de forma independiente y presentarlo como un regalo colectivo una vez que se haya recaudado algo de dinero.
