Dear Family and Friends,
I have been chosen to represent Save A Child's Heart (SACH) by runnning the New York Marathon! I have committed to raising $3500.00 for this fantastic charity in addition to completing this major life goal. Save A Child's Heart is an Israeli-based international humanitarian project, whose mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from developing countries who suffer from heart disease. SACH is dedicated to the idea that every child deserves the best medical treatment available regardless of the child's nationality, religion, color, gender, or financial situation.
I am an elementary school teacher in a widely diverse district, this organization holds both meaning and promise to me. As I prepare and train for this major event, I am motivated by the idea that my footsteps and our donations will save a child's life.
