Cpl Ramona Valdez Square Fundraiser

Cpl. Ramona M. Valdez is being honored on August 26th 2017, in a Square renaming ceremony. the square being renamed, is the one where the mini recruiting station (located in Fordham) is located . It will be renamed Cpl. Ramona M. Valdez, USMC Square. However, the logistical cost for the ceremony and for any expenses surrounding the ceremony , such as lodging,  transportaion for guest; is incurred by Cpl. Ramona M. Valdez's  family. On top of this, any additional  money raised will be donated towards future projects such as, a memorial monument, and beautification projects. These additions to the square, may be done to further enhance the Memorial Square honoring our Fallen friend/ family member. This event is a chance for Cpl. Ramona M. Valdez's story of her life and ultimate sacrifice to be shared with the community she grew up in; and also the world. We want to be able to honor her as best we can, and only finding out about the renaming with such short notice, ( the family found out with only little than a month to plan), the family is need of help. So we ask that whatever can be donated, would be greatly appreciated. We will also be creating an event page, and adding additional information as time goes on.
