Service Dog for Veteran

Hey guys, my name is Robert Mitchell, I have been suffering from Post Straumatic Stress Disorder and mild Traumatic Brain injury for over 9 years as a result of my service in Sadr City, Baghdad with the 1st Cavalry Division.  I am finally in a position that allows me to have a service animal to help with my symptoms, but was recently disappointed with bad news.  The agency that I was going through, Paws and Stripes, said that the scholarship for the training and animal that I would receive was turned down.  So, now I need your help.  My family struggles along with me in dealing my post-war fight, and every day is a battle.  My family and my therapist, and my doctor all believe that a service animal would be a tremendous asset to my healing, and the only thing holding me back from that is having the funds to pay the tuition.  I was raised with a value system that is ROOTED in service, and I served my country for 7 years as an infantryman in the Army and New Mexico Army National Guard, and continued serving my community as a police officer, and even now serve my fellow disabled veteran community by running a non-profit committed to healing our nation's heroes through music.  Anything that anyone can give to help me heal MYSELF would be greatly appreciated!!
