Gordie is a brilliant, good-humoured, and adventurous human being. Though he suffered from a multiple spinal tumors at the age of 8 and lost the use of his lower legs in the treatment process, he continued to grab life by the horns, and has never let go (except to wave at people as he passes).
A new wheelchair for Gordie is long-overdue. His current chair has been with him for a long time, and it's taken a beating. We want him to be able to explore earth's cities, forests and anywhere else he wants to go. A high-quality, lightweight, all-terrain wheelchair will make living however he wants that much easier.
