CPAP Machine Payments Incoming
Donation protected
Hello, I am Sam Dalot. During the end of 2020, I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, similarly to that of my parents. According to the pulmonologist that described this to me: my sleep was frequently segmented and left me with many instances where I would stop breathing in my sleep, and that continued sleep without treatment could lead to serious heart problems and other issues.
After a few months, I was received a DreamStation CPAP machine that has helped make my sleep safe and consistent. However, even with my health insurance from my family, I will be paying a considerable amount of money out of pocket.
As of the day writing this: 1/7/2020, my already small hours have been severely cut from my job from a low payroll. I am only being given a singular 4 hour shift a week, at minimum wage.
My estimated payment, and I say estimate, as the numbers have not been finalized according to the pharmacy, is around $300-$400. I cannot afford all of this by myself, especially not with the wage I am making right now.
My parents cannot provide financial assistance for me as they are also handling with their own struggles and costs. I cannot feasibly afford this machine that my health depends on with the money I currently have.
All proceeds will be saved and applied to the impending payment for my CPAP machine.
I really did not wish for this to come to the matters of a fundraiser, but I am desperate.
If you cannot donate, please do consider spreading the word if you can.
Thank you.
