Medical Fund for Lorie Greer

As many of you know, Lorie has been battling illness since March of this year.  Last Monday, on her first day of work at Gulf Coast Medical Center, she became very ill and was hospitalized. It was determined that she has an abscess (serious infection) in her right lung. She has undergone a routine of intense antibiotics, but they have not been effective. She is now scheduled for a serious surgery on her right lung next Monday. Following the surgery, she will spend 2 to 3 days in ICU, so it is likely she will remain in the hospital for at least another week. 

Lorie is self-employed and doesn't have medical insurance. She has also been hired part-time at the hospital; however, it will be some time before she will be able to return to work.  Obviously, the medical care and related expenses will be significant. My hope is that we can help relieve the financial stress so that she can focus 100% on recovering.
