My mom has a form of dementia called Primary Progressive aphasia. She has had this for a couple of years now. It is now to the point where it has taken over her brain so much that she can't function on her own. I've been told today that she has about 2 to 4 weeks to live and she is being placed in hospice tomorrow. They are just trying to make her comfortable. I never usually ask people for help when it comes to things like this, and I know that everyone has their own issues, but anything would help. My mom was always the type of person to give more than expected. Waitresses... she would give them $20 tips sometimes, just because she knew it would brighten their day. She has some money in her bank account but we all know that planning funerals are not cheap. It breaks my heart to even think of going through this. Right now as we speak she weighs 83.2 lb. She is not eating, she is not drinking. They are just trying to keep her comfortable at this point. I had to let my dad go in 2008, now I'm having to let my mom go. The tears come and go lately just because I've been crying so much recently. If you can help us out in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. And if you are not able to, there are no hard feelings. Love and hugs to you all. And thank you in advance.
