Zazu's House Cozy Winter Fund 2017

Winter is here and it's time for our third annual Cozy Winter Fund to help keep our parrots cozy and warm! Zazu’s House Parrot Sanctuary is home to almost 300 tropical parrots that aren’t used to chilly Washington winters and really feel the cold. Feathers help birds stay warm, but many of the parrots at Zazu’s House are missing lots of their feathers, making them especially vulnerable to the season chill!

Our facility is heated for the parrots' comfort, but during winter it costs almost $2,000 a month to heat the two large buildings our parrots call home. Zazu’s House operates on 100% charitable donations and we really need your help to keep the heat turned up so the parrots, especially the naked ones, don’t shiver this winter!

As a bonus this year, donations of $25 or more made during the Cozy Winter Fund (through November 30th, 2017) will receive a 2018 Zazu's House Calendar, featuring incredible photographs of our birds!
