Cows for CCIM Team Uganda

Donation protected

At CCIM we have a one-year course for Pastors and Lay-leaders that facilitates restored strength, hope, and joy.

"I realize I have been living a careless life. God wants intimacy with me. I am coming back to God. And we will do great things together,”  a Pastor in Kasese, Uganda

“My heart rejoiced when God brought this teaching. It is not a teaching that is segregating or dividing the body of Christ, but is bringing unity.” Owena, a Pastor in Uganda

"I’ve benefitted a lot in how to read the Bible. The Bible is a difficult book to read and I started reading it because I had an exam. I have been caught up reading it and I have received revelations from this study by reading the Bible. I wouldn’t have learned how to read the Bible without this course." Benjamin, a Church Administrator in Uganda

The requests for this course have out-stripped my own personal ability to deliver and facilitate the course to pastors and bishops.

We have therefore been developing a CCIM Team Uganda to minister in the supporting roles around this course within the country of Uganda and within East Africa.

This work then, the honorariums that go to these folks, as well as the on-the-ground expenses within the country require a sustainable revenue source.

Our conviction at CCIM has always been to have this kind of sustainability coming from within each country in which CCIM work is going forth.

This does a couple of things:

1. It provides jobs within the country. Currently at this time we have four families receiving a small stipend as they participate and contribute to the work of CCIM. This small stipend makes a big difference in their day to day lives in terms of their the ability to eat and to pay school fees for their children.

2. Funds generated from within the country (as opposed from the west) creates a strength of commerce and participates in the local economy there. Funds generated from within a country creates a sustainability that will continue on decades from now.

3. Your and my money invests in the decades ahead. Every investment is just that, an investment in transformational heart and mind education that is already changing lives. This initial money will work hard for decades to come. Literally. It is a long-range plan that will bear much more fruit than we can even imagine.

Our goal is to have CCIM Team Uganda completely self-sufficient and self-governing within 3-5 years time. This investment in cows and the sale of milk is a critical piece to this goal for CCIM within East Africa.

We have bought 10 cows and they came with 7 babies. These 10 cows are producing about 1/3 the milk that we need to cover costs.

In January 2018, we would like to add another 10 cows. And then in July or August of 2018, another 10 cows. This should get us up and running with full coverage of expenses within the country.

Please consider investing and participating in this work and in CCIM Team Uganda at this time.

Once these cows are bought and established there will no longer be any funds needed for the work of CCIM in Uganda from our home partners and donors.

The first bit of money for this venture has come from a private anonymous donor, the remainder of this venture can come from you.

Each cow (currently milking or nearly milking) costs about $850.00 Canadian dollars. Sponsor an entire cow or part of a cow. Even 1/8th of a cow is great! Together we can make this thing happen.

Bless you for your hearts and dollars alongside myself and this work of CCIM around the world, most particulalry at this time, in Uganda.
