Cowan 2.0 - Bringing Harper Home

Greetings friends and family!
We wanted to thank you first and foremost for all your love, support and prayers for us over the last year since announcing our adoption plans.
While waiting patiently, we were introduced to a potential adoption situation. As many of you know, a sweet baby girl was born in June of 2017 and her mother expressed a desire to lovingly place her with us. In November we were officially approved to begin fostering her.

Since this baby had already been born, the legal matters were potentially more complicated than a pre-birth match. Our prayers were answered when the consent for adoption was signed by her birthmom. We could breathe a sigh of relief but we knew that the road to finalizing the adoption was only beginning.

After tons of paperwork, some court hearings and loads of loads of fees, we are very close to being able to finalize. Early on, a few amazing friends inquired about donating to any fundraising efforts. At the time, we were unsure about fundraising at all. As we are nearing the end of the road, a few surprises have come up so we decided that we would try to raise the last bit to cover our final legal fees. Any amount of donation is appreciated. If you are unable to donate, please know that your love, support and prayers for our journey are appreciated just as much.
