Dear Family and Friends, I can thankfully say I have survived COVID- 19. Even though my symptoms were mild and I am currently doing well, I don't want to outlive it all in vain. Surviving it has opened my eyes and made me realize that I want to join the fight against this monster virus. Therefore, in honor of my birthday on April 29th, I've created this GoFundMe page in hopes of raising money to support those in Haiti, my homeland, during this challenging time. As one of the poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti's healthcare system leaves the most vulnerable fending for themselves. Healthcare is indeed a human right, and everyone deserves equal access to it.
