Hello my beautiful friends! ❤ I'm using the same GoFundMe page as the one I've used before when the pandemic first hit and I was out of work, so that's why there are already donations. And once again, I appreciate every single one of you who helped me during that difficult time.  It meant and still means so much to me!  Unfortunately though, something else a little more personal has come up...

I'm a pretty private person, so I usually keep my health issues to myself.  I still won't go into too many details because I don't want anyone to look at me different due to these issues - I won't let them define or stop me in life. But lately I've had to be more open about what I'm going through because of the cancellations of many shows so far this year.  It bothers me so much to not be able to perform music for you because I love to make others happy with my God-given gifts, and so it saddens me to have to cancel another month (or possibly two) of shows.

I've constantly had new health problems pop up throughout the last year, but this time it's affecting what I use for work - my vocal cords.  Other underlying conditions have been affecting my voice for some time, and now I have to travel to Denver to go see an ENT that will tell me what's been going on and/or how bad the damage is. This has left me with an unexpected bill that my insurance does not cover, and a lot of time that I will be unable to work as I take time to heal.  I've been nervous to stop singing for longer than a couple weeks at a time due to financial reasons, but now I don't have a choice if I don't want to risk more permanent damage that could be irreversible or cost me a fortune.  The scope to check my vocal cords will cost me $650, and that's just one appointment. I've saved up some money, but also have been using it up due to already having to cancel shows, and other medical bills and insurance costs for my other underlying health issues.  I am also unable to work other jobs due to those issues (trust me, I've tried regardless of the pain and weakness), and so without a voice too I feel a little stuck.  I am trusting God though through this process and He's definitely provided the best support system I could ask for and more to get me through these storms. I am already so grateful for the support I've already gotten from you all, and it doesn't always have to be in the form of money.  I appreciate every compliment that makes my day a little brighter, every share and comment on my posts to get my content out there, and every person who has been understanding and patient with me as my health gets in the way of me performing and feeling my best.  I want you to know that everything you do for me does not go unnoticed or unappreciated, and that's why I try to respond to as many comments, donations, and supporters as I can.  I'm happy that I'll at least have more time to do that, and to focus my efforts on raising money for those that are really in need.

Honestly, I just want to keep giving to my friend Juli and her orphanage in Uganda because that's more important to me right now.  So if you'd like to donate to something that needs you more than I do, please check out my other fundraiser for the Meme Children's Center.  I can always sell something or find other ways to raise money if it really comes down to it, but these orphans can't.  So I've started a movement called "Performing For Heavenly Homes" that I felt God put on my heart to start.  It's a way to raise money for those in need of a more secure and comfortable home by asking musicians and artists to use their talents to raise the money necessary to make that happen. It could be a virtual or live show, or any other creative way you can think of! I'll leave that up to the creators and performers. :) I'm starting with my friend's orphanage, but would love to make this movement something larger in the future to help more orphans and people in need of resources to survive and feel loved.  Everyone is important and there's so much we can do as a community to let them know that they are important.  If you'd like to be a part of that, either as a donor or talent, go to this website!

Anyways, I love you all so much and even if you can't give anything, my feelings won't change.  I'm so blessed to have such amazing supporters and regardless of how you go about showing that support, I'm happy to have you all in my life.  Thank you for always giving me a reason to smile - I hope my music has done that for you as well! :)

God Bless!

I really look forward to seeing you soon!
