The Covid-19 shutdown and sudden sickness has hit our animal sanctuary hard. We’ve had to cancel our weekly volunteer programming, and our regular educational tours, which would normally be starting next month, are now in question. We rely heavily on our volunteers to keep the sanctuary running and on our tours and events for financial security.  To make matters worse, several of our ducks AND our chickens have suddenly fallen gravely ill, and all our dogs and cats needed their spring flea and tick meds. We’ve already spent more than $1,250 this month in vet bills and medications, with more to come, unfortunately.
