COVID-19 support for single mom

** update 4/2021**  my divorce has finally ended after years of battling him in the legal system and to be able to protect myself and the kids moving forward, this however left me with a steep legal bill, in which I've paid a large chunk off from hanging over any and all assets gained from the divorce. I still have a decent portion of debt to my lawyer, as well as normal month to month Bill's I'm playing catch up on from the setbacks due to legal bills and than covid hitting and taking out a huge intake of income for me as I waitressed as one of my main sources of income.  Even with things moderately seeming to come back to normal, playing catch up is difficult  even more so when unexpected expenses seem to keep popping up. I beyond apperiacte any and all help and support those have given thus far and anyone who does going forward!!

My name is Kat, this account was orginally made by my gf Susan awhile back when she wanted to help me when my soon to be ex stopped helping financially support our kids during our separation/divorce. I didn't want it mass produced on social media to avoid scrutiny from people who knew me and it getting back to my soon to be ex. So it was just out sourced to people that she knew for a short time. Alot of things have happened since this started, legally my divorce has taken way longer than it should have due to alot of unnecessary tactics from my soon to be ex and his lawyer and well now the spreading of Covid-19 put things on hold for a long time but thankfully the courts are back open which also means my ex is doing his best to raise my legal fees every chance he gets. We are still going through our divorce and although just recently I finally received mandatory child support it's not much and due to everything currently with Covid19 like many others I've lost a main source of income from job (and if he's laid off I'd also lose my child support temporarily). I'm the one who is in charge of keeping them on tasks and helping them during their studies via the internet til further notice, which also doesnt allow me to find other work as they are home with me 24/7, not mention wanting to keep them healthy and safe during this time by not being around people and bringing this virus back home to them. With further setbacks to my divorce and my bill piling up there and almost everywhere else I'm now choosing to use this as a stepping stone to help aid myself during this time. I've recently gotten off unemployment and gone back to work however not making nearly what I was before covid at my part time job waitressing, still not able to work my second job yet. I'm trying everything I can within my control, but could use any and all help else where also.I've come too far and fought too hard to just give up and need to keep fighting for my children so they stay where they should be with me. I will be using the majority of these funds to eat away at the legal debt I have so I can keep fighting for myself and my kids easier. I appreciate those who have given already, those who have shared to help with donations as well. I'm asking if you choose to share please leave my name off the share if you know who I am or just share privately through emails and texts with others you know. Thanks again to everyone who has taken time to read my story and not hold judgement on me for asking for help. I hope everyone who reads this is staying healthy during this scary and crazy time, along with family and friends. Thanks again for stopping by, any aid whether its donationing or passing along my story to others, Thank You!
