Travessia Covid-19 Staff and Community Fundraiser

Help us to keep going! Covid 19 has forced most of Mozambique's lodges and related service providers to shut down. Looking at the overall economic situation in the country, particularly after the impact of the two cyclones of 2019, properties like Travessia and other small businesses that depend on tourism have little hope for any government support and will struggle to survive.
Tourism in Mozambique relies heavily on international travellers. The current global travel bans and ongoing uncertainty has resulted in no income from March until at least June 2020 and likely many months beyond with further cancellations and few if any new bookings.
Any small donation will assist us in keeping our staff going as long as possible. Each of our staff members usually supports a family of at least 8 people, some even more. Your funding will also support the teacher of our Pre-Primary Village School, an initiative that has been funded and supported by Travessia with generous donations of guests and agents.
To show our appreciation for your kindness, our team wants to give something back. Every 10 days, we will give away prizes among all contributions of EUR 50 or more. Win a free double room night, a romantic sundowner bush drive or a private dinner under the stars.
