COVID-19 Response: We need your support!

Foodshare Kerry currently operates as the only Foodbank in Kerry, we are a not-for-profit organisation set up to help local charity groups combat food poverty in our county. We rescue quality surplus food from supermarkets and food producers, along with FEAD (Food from the European Union’s Fund for the Most Deprived) and make it available to organisations who know best how to redistribute it to those in need. 

In this crisis response, Foodshare Kerry has experienced a decrease in food donations, fundraising abilities and manpower, but an increase in the demand for our services. Without the financial support of our communities, we will not be able to meet the demand of the most vulnerable and most affected by this crisis.

No person should go hungry during this COVID-19 pandemic. With school closures, job disruptions and health risks, thousands of individuals in Kerry have turned to community organisations for vital support.

We can’t do it alone, but you can help!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Foodshare Kerry are committed to serving our communities and individuals facing hunger across Kerry. Every euro raised from the COVID-19 Response Fund will be used to get food to local organisations throughout our county.
