COVID-19 Relief for Nepal -- Hope for Nepal

Currently, Nepal is being hit by a rapid-spreading deadly second wave of COVID-19. In response, the Nepali government has shut down borders and put its citizens under lockdown. We see the latent effects of the virus first hand due to the lack of adequate medical facilities to identify and treat the virus. With no source of daily income, numerous Nepali people fear that they are powerless against a disease, that erupted just across the border.

At Hope for Nepal Foundation, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the COVID-19 issue in Nepal. Currently, in Kathmandu, ICU beds are unavailable, COVID wards are brimmed overcapacity, and many lose their lives due to the scarcity of oxygen tanks.

 As seen in the image, the Nepali army is cremating over 100 victims every day, depriving families of a chance to look at their loved ones a final time.

 By raising funds to partner with Hami Nepal Youth Organisation, HFNF will be supplying ventilators, medical-grade masks, and beds to hospitals based in Kathmandu. We will be importing ventilators from the supplier directly, to ensure fair distribution to our partner organisations.

 Additionally, we will be supplying tarps and large tents to hospitals in dire need of temporary spaces to treat patients. All funds raised will go directly towards the purchases of these medical supplies, with transparent records. Through cooperation and community empowerment, we can facilitate progress in these hospitals that need it the most. We are always striving to make a difference and implore you to lend your support.
