COVID-19: Equip Healthcare Workers with PPE!

We are at war with COVID-19. Help us protect Colorado’s healthcare workers with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) NOW!

Current publicly known statistics show that about 15-20% of intensive care healthcare workers inflicted with COVID-19 perish and succumb to complications. That is extremely disturbing.

We can not wait. We need to act fast. Doctors, nurses and healthcare workers are succumbing to this disease because they continue to work despite not having appropriate protective gear.  If we cannot protect the people who care for us, how are we supposed to win against this enemy?

Unfortunately, we are against a foe we have never encountered in our lifetime. It is powerful and it is invisible. It hits us where we are most vulnerable - affecting our loved ones, and our weak - the ones we protect the most. This enemy uses our weaknesses to disrupt us, and delay how we help each other; it works to make us fight against each other as it slowly eats away our resources and our ability to care for the sick. It uses our time wasted to get stronger and become invincible. 

Lynk Pediatrics has always been different from other practices because we are built on community and family. In dire times like this, we have taken it upon ourselves to help our frontliners, by helping supply them and their hospitals with PPEs as we have a lot of parents working as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and essential workers that try to keep our time now as normal and stable as possible. Our medical family is in need, and WITH YOUR HELP, we will stand up to the challenge. 

We were able to source PPE's through our sister company (DogGoods Do Good ) and its suppliers on level 1 FDA approved PPEs, including gowns, foot covers, face shields and N95 masks which, we will be procuring and giving out to both hospitals, and our parents working in the frontline.

We decided to start a “go fund me” account to help with our cost. If you can, please consider helping us out and spreading this for our

WHAT IS THE FUNDRAISING FOR:
The funds raised will help pay for the PPE, its shipment costs, and necessary government taxes. 

Your donation will help pay for a combination of tens of thousands of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): 
 
1. Isolation Gowns
2. Shoe Covers
3. Protective Face Shields
4. N95 Masks
5. Surgical Masks

WHERE WILL IT GO:
They will be donated to the State of Colorado, who will then distribute to areas needed most.

WHEN: Notwithstanding logistical issues and other unforeseen circumstances in these challenging times, we anticipate to hand over all equipment within April.
