COVID-19 online resource to help researchers

HELP US HELP THE COVID-19 RESEARCHERS
Scientists around the world are working night and day (literally) to find vaccines, therapies and other solutions to the current COVID-19 pandemic. There is already a large amount of academic/research information available on public resources like PubMed (an online database of over 30million medical, life sciences and other research papers), BUT the big issue is that actually there is too much information.
Just searching for "coronavirus" on PubMed returns 16,751 results, if you include related terms like COVID, MERS and SARS there are 25,690 results: how do scientists find the research that is most interesting and relevant to them?
Elute Intelligence is a small start-up company, we are developing advanced document search services. Over the last few weeks we have taken our technology and used it to create an online resource at elute.info, it is called the COVID-19 Document Reader and it allows scientists to rapidly find valuable information. Our approach is very different to say a Google search, if a researcher has a document that they think is interesting, our system will find other similar documents on the PubMed database.
We want every researcher working on COVID-19 to have access to the our resource for free.
At the moment our team is small and dedicated, but we think it is really important to keep developing this tool and make sure it remains available. We want to do our bit in helping to overcome COVID-19.
If you make a contribution to our team, the money will be used to directly fund ongoing people and computing costs associated with the development of the tool. If this campaign is really successful and we raise more money than we need to cover our costs and/or we see that demand for access to the tool diminishes then we will donate the remainder of the money to another organisation doing its best to help with the current pandemic - we will tell you who it is. Whatever donation you make, we will make sure it is helping to overcome COVID-19.
