<p>There is no comparison to a mother's love…..unending, enduring, unconditional, everlasting .....and sometimes gone all too soon. Cindy was a loving single mother of 4 who came to this country from the Bahamas to achieve the American Dream. She worked 2 jobs, made sure her kids were fed, clothed, and went to school every day, while at one point even having to live in hotels for years just to keep from being homeless. She taught a strong work ethic and strong values to her children and to always help others when they can. After celebrating her birthday on August 1st, she didn't feel well. On August 5th, she went to the hospital. On August 6th, she died. My name is Janie, and I met this wonderful family 3 years ago through my daughter’s high school play.  And now, cruel, relentless COVID-19 has heartbreakingly, quickly and unapologetically taken another life, leaving behind 4 children to now struggle to not only stay together as a family, but to also somehow strive and thrive through this grief to make their beloved mother proud.  Jenny, the eldest, worked 2 jobs while trying to finish school this summer.  She would like to keep her 20-year-old brother, Tre, and 2 middle- school aged sisters, Sierra and Zoe, all together.   This little family now needs a "village" to help them afford an apartment, and living expenses for four and eventually a permanent place to live.  Any amount donation would be gratefully appreciated by Jenny and Tre.  PLEASE help keep this family together. Thank you all for your compassion and hopefully boundless generosity toward keeping a roof over this little family.
