Support Penda Health to vaccinate Kenyans against Covid-19...

Penda Health medical centers have been designated as vaccination centers by the Government of Kenya, and through this partnership, we have already administered over 10,000 doses of the vaccine in the Nairobi metropolitan area since August. Currently, we are vaccinating over 400 patients per day across 7 of our medical centers, and we need your help!

While the cost of the vaccine is fully covered by the Kenyan Government, it costs Penda about $2 per dose administered - this includes costs such as:
- Logistics: Transporting vaccine doses from government depots to our medical centers on a daily basis
- Administration and training: Administering the vaccine requires a coordinated involving many of our teams, and includes the training our our medical staff on vaccination protocols, coordinating with government officials on vaccine sourcing and logistics, and the creation of space in our medical centers to accommodate patients seeking the vaccine.
- Community education and outreach: To get more patients into our medical centers for vaccinations and to address issues of vaccine hesitancy, we are engaging in regular community outreach and education campaigns.
- Our Call Centre: Penda's 24-hour call centre makes healthcare providers available around the clock to answer patient questions about Covid-19 and where to get vaccinated.

We are passionate about making the Covid vaccine available to all Kenyans, and we are committed to continuing this important work - but it is a strain on our resources! Would you pitch in just $2 to help?

Even a small donation can make a big difference! Some Kenya Covid vaccine FAQs:
- As of November 2021, only 4% of Kenya's population of 55 million are fully vaccinated, and only 7% have received at least one dose.
- Kenya has an ambitious target to vaccinate 26 million people (47%) by the end of 2022
- Penda Health is one of the only private primary healthcare providers in Kenya offering the vaccine. To date, nearly 1 of every 50 Kenyans vaccinated against Covid-19 have received their vaccine in one of our medical centers.
