COVID-19 First Responders Fundraiser

As coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across United States, 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans is launching a fundraising campaign (COVID-19 First Responders Fundraiser) to provide needed assistance to the first responders who are on the front lines of the fight against this pandemic. First Responders, which include law enforcement, firefighter, EMT, and healthcare professionals, will be able to receive grants to purchase greatly needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other essential equipment they might need to fight COVID-19.

3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans will also provide additional, non-medical, facemask covering for First Responders to assist them in answering 911-service calls. We already have provided a number of face-covering neck gaiters to first responders in the New Your City area. Proceeds from the sale of our face-covering neck gaiters will go to support these brave men and women.

When this pandemic comes to an end, 3/8 OIF & OEF Veterans will donate the remainder of the funds to first responder non-profit organizations, such as Gary Sinise Foundation, Project C.U.R.E, and FDNY Foundation.

First responders, many of who are veterans, sacrifice their safety to help, assist, and keep us safe at home. They respond when a call is received, leaving their own families to aid ours. First responder families sacrifice too because their loved one responds for our loved ones. We want to recognize their sacrifice and assist First Responders in staying safe so they can continue to serve our communities.
