We need your help.
Please help ensure that we have the crucial resources we need to continue our mission and that we can continue to provide for the many autistic and developmentally disabled men, women and children who are a part of our family. While the city has all but shut down, we’re among the Governor of New York’s list of essential services, and we continue our critical around-the-clock services for those we support.
As we respond to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, our first and foremost priority will always be the health, safety and well-being of the many men, women and children who rely on us for literally every aspect of life, from having a roof over their heads, healthy food to eat and the daily love and care they receive from our incredibly dedicated staff.
The challenges we are facing continue to mount. In addition to having to close our Day Programs, we have had to spend tens of thousands of dollars to respond to this crisis and we anticipate having to spend hundreds of thousands more as this pandemic unfolds and dramatically effects our daily operations.
Your support will ensure that we are able to:
-Pay rents and mortgages at our 19 residences,
-Purchase groceries and other basic home and healthcare supplies,
-Ensure proper cleaning and disinfecting of our locations,
-Ensure we’re able to pay the staff of nearly 200 who are on the front lines caring for those we support around the clock; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We desperately need your help to close the gap in funding created by this crisis, in addition to the mounting expenses that continue to pile up with each passing day.
