Please help us through this time in need

We initially planned our wedding on August 2018 after I proposed for the date of November 7th 2020. At the time the world was normal and it allowed us to save money and plan without much stress, or so we thought. During these last few months keeping the wedding together has been a challenge in itself and unfortunately we will be missing many people who are close loved ones from enjoying and sharing that day with us. Between the state of the country and finances with decreased work hours and the bride herself contracting Covid-19 it has been nothing less than stressful and difficult to keep things together. The worst of recent news we received three days ago that our honeymoon plans are now officially canceled as a result of COVID-19. We used what money we had saved for a payment for that original honeymoon and due to nature of contract are not receiving a refund but a credit towards a future trip, therefore we cannot afford a honeymoon but badly I want and need one. We are both healthcare workers and working skilled nursing facilities for geriatrics. We need a break from the stress of the world we’re in and work not to mention we really just are wanting to experience a true honeymoon and wedding experience. We are asking anyone that can no matter how small or large that they help make our dream come true and assist in making our marriage an enjoyable experience and not one that had disappointment after disappointment. Don’t get me wrong we can’t wait to marry one another and share it with those you can be there, but we just want some positivity back into this. Thank you. We would appreciate your help as it’s difficult for us to ask for help when we are so used to being the ones that give it with our profession. We are asking for an amount to cover a honeymoon that we can enjoy and maybe cover some of the expenses that are carried over from our wedding. We are hoping to take our honeymoon by November 15th God willing.
