COVID-19 AOK Crisis response fund - 1180072

AOK is a registered charity who concentrate on Crisis support in the local area.  Following the latest news regarding the Coronavirus we feel it is has been necessary to set up a Crisis support network and go fund me page to support those in the community that cannot get to the shops through underlying health issues and being in the at risk categories. 

We will mobilise the community as much aswe can by protecting them with protective measures such as gloves, masks and hand sanitizers but this has already started to come at a cost of £130 for the first amount to start with purchasing 800 gloves, anti bac and 80 masks.

There are other contributory factors for us setting up this go fund me - 

Funds for food if required for shopping if needed by elderly during the 12 week isolation period. 

- Donations have been offered already and so this is a good way of people donating. 

- We don’t want people taking money from the elderly in crisis - if we have the funds we can organise someone to do a shop rather than cash exchanging hands.

- Fuel for the van for deliveries

Any funds left over will go into AOK for thefuture support of the vulnerable in the community.
