Covid Relief for The Martinez Family
My dear family and friends, as you may know my dad (Delfino Martinez), my brother (Jose Martinez), and my sister-in-law (Monica Saldaña) fell victims to COVID19 on July 3rd. My father is currently in ICU fighting for his life. Monica was just released from the hospital on July 11th with an oxygen tank to aid in the persistent symptom of difficulty in breathing while my brother remains medicated at home under quarantine with pneumonia.
My father is the only living parent we have since the loss of our beloved mother in 2012. He is a doting father, grandfather, and great grandfather cherished by us all. He is loving, caring, and is constantly making us laugh. He is “my rock”, the first call of my mornings and the last call of my evenings. Please keep him in your prayers! Jose is a proud father of four and a joyous grandfather of two. He too is caring, hardworking, and is constantly entertaining us with his jokes (even when he’s annoying). Gotta love him. Monica, my sister-in-law, is a home health provider and became sick while working. Monica never complains and loves to help others.
As you can imagine this has put a strain on them physically, emotionally, and financially since they are not able to return to their jobs. The family has requested
and applied for rental assistance but have been denied due to exhausted funds. On behalf of my dad, brother, and sister-in-law, we would like to help raise $4k for financial expenses during this difficult time. This will be applied to immediate needs such as food, rent, utilities, car note, and out of pocket medical expenses. Please share this post with all your friends and extended family.
