COVID Mutual Aid for Marginalized Folks in KY

Hi all!
We are a Queer couple in Louisville, KY raising funds to meet our immediate living needs and the immediate living needs of our loved ones.
We have been greatly impacted by COVID through layoffs, job insecurity, and other social and economic factors- and also recognize that survival is always, already a reality for our communities. Housing insecurity, job insecurity, food insecurity, unemployment, racism, transphobia and queerphobia are a part of our daily lives- a global pandemic only heightens these already existing conditions.
We know through experience that the best way through crisis is community care and mutual aid, so we have organized this fundraiser to provide financial support for ourselves and our loved ones who need it during this time. All donations will go directly to Queer and Trans folks, Black folks, Poor Folks, Sex Workers, and those in the gig economy in the Louisville, KY area, to help with immediate living needs such as food and housing.
If you are someone with privilege, particularly those with financial stability, income, job security, access to family members and friends who support you monetarily, etc. please donate to help those without access.
Even as we work towards a better future, it's important that we continue to meet our immediate living needs. Everything is greatly appreciated as our communities work towards our goals. Thanks in advance!
