Covid 19 has changed the world we live in. It's no secret that our town is in shambles and the hope on the horizon is bleek.
Our family has scrapped by due to this pandemic by draining the savings, and compromising for everything. We lost over half of our income due to job reductions from government forced closures. It comes with a heavy blow to my pride to ask for help. I've already cancelled all my subscriptions, extra bills per say, and reduced our food costs as much as possible. There is nothing left to cut. I'm selling my home belongings to shave as much as I can.
Those who know me know I find a way everytime, only this time I'm struggling to find a penny extra. Our landlord has decided that our lease is up and they are selling the house. Eviction moratorium only protects those who have a house to live in. We are in uncharted waters as I desperately put in application after application for places to live. So far I have spent more money applying to rentals then I would in deposits, not to be selected in the end.
Due to a not at fault car accident in August 2019, my neck and my back are injured, permanently. Leaving heavy lifting and moving to be extremely challenging, and to move I need help and services.
For many reasons, we are stuck and at this point these boys are my drive and purpose. It comes with my pride set aside and my future grim that I ask for help publicly to raise funds to move on October 9th.
