Covid Aftercare support

My Friend Chris Bowers has recently come out of hospital after spending over 5 months in fighting Covid.
After 2 months in a coma and having 2 heart attacks along the way the great people working at NHS brought him through all of this and we all feel blessed and thankful to have our friend back with us.

Chris still has a long road to recovery, with ongoing needs for physio and in house care needs.

Unfortunately the care companies supplied so far have failed to give him the  home help and assistance he needs to carry on making progress, he is currently virtually blind which is an after affect of the Covid on his body ( he is due the first of many eye operations next week) he can listen to the radio but TV and other activities that we all take for granted are out of his reach at the moment.

Social Services are now suggesting he is put in a Hospice until they can better support him, which is far from ideal.

Chris needs all our help to get him private careers that care, his mobility has been greatly affected so moving and cleaning himself is very hard without assistance.
We would love to get some proper support in place and this is what this fund is for, as I cant face seeing my friend being sent away from his home when he really needs to be there.

Please dig deep and share as his current care company cancelled the contract with him last night and this will finish on Sunday
