Parque Jaime Duque Zoo Fundraiser Colombia

The Jaime Duque Park is a Colombian non-profit organization located north of Bogotá that works for the conservation of nature, life, family values and historical memory. Our Zoo is home to more than 700 animals of 110 different species that were victims of illegal wildlife trafficking and then rescued by the environmental authorities. Among our most beloved animals we have hippos, tigers, condors and many others. 

The Jaime Duque Park is a leader in many environmental causes in the region and these animals are at the heart of these efforts as all of the profits from the Zoo are destined to programs such as the conservation of the Andean Condor, the Andean Bear and the Gray Titi, among other endemic endangered species, as well as the creation and expansion of nature reserves. 



We work very hard on the wellbeing of our animals, we have a highly skilled staff and are constantly improving our facilities. We also center our efforts on the creation of knowledge through our animals to play an active role in the scientific community. We had high goals for this year but due to the COVID-19 pandemic we haven't been able to receive our visitors since the 16th of March and now we are forced to ask for help so we can continue to care for our wonderful animals and our workers until we are allowed to open our doors again in August. 

We need help to get through the next two months, that we hope are the last with the strict quarantine rules currently in place, so with your support you would be financing the wellbeing of our animals and our community.
