THE PROBLEM
Coronavirus cases in California are exponentially increasing; the number of doctors and nurses to care for patients, however, is not. Hospitals are exceeding capacity, and medical teams are exhausted from the stress of working double shifts to meet the influx of patients.
In some facilities doctors and nurses that are in need of a break are doing so by napping on floors, sitting up in chairs, using much-needed examination tables and beds or utilizing over crowded break rooms.
We have heard the stories from our nurses and doctors and we are taking action to help!
THE SOLUTION
Collaborative Care Group is combining efforts to supply hospitals with reasonable accommodations for their staff to rest and replenish without leaving the facility.
We are creating a relaxing environment within a stand-alone tent (10'x 20') furnished with comfortable, high-quality furniture, encouraging naps when necessary as well as bottled water, vitamin-infused drinks and healthy snacks to be provided.
BENEFITS
The COVID-19 Cabanas provide the following benefits to medical personnel:
- A convenient place where the medical staff can step away to breathe, center themselves, and refuel whenever necessary.
- A change of scenery for quick power-naps that can work wonders for those working under the intense conditions currently being faced in all hospitals.
- Each COVID-19 Cabana is equipped with premium furniture made of germ free resistant material that is easily cleaned.
- Each COVID-19 Cabana is equipped with premium craft services.
The service is 100% free to hospitals and will include delivery, set up and removal of the tent and furniture along with providing and replenishing bottled water, vitamin infused drinks and healthy snacks.
HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS
We are in desperate need to supply the medical rest areas with essential resources such as food, bottled water, snacks, boxed meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) blankets, pillows to help us create life-changing cabanas for our life-saving healthcare workers. In addition it allows us to supply more hospitals with these rest areas that they desperately need.

The Collaborative Care Group is a 501 C3 pending organization formed by a group of professionals from various industries who have joined forces to help our healthcare workers during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
